*NEW!* Musing Mondays
This is a new (hopefully) weekly event that I’ve come up with. I haven’t really fleshed out the idea, fully, yet. But, my thinking is that I wanted to write each Monday and “muse” about books. I know, I know… there are other weekly events out there that already kind of fall along these same lines… “The Sunday Salon“, being one, or “Weekly Geeks” being another. Both are bookish, and kind of about musing about books. So, how is this one different?
I guess it’s different in that, I’m creating this event for me. I’m not really expecting anyone to follow me on this (though, I won’t mind if you do!). I just wanted something that would prompt me to blog every Monday. I’ve already got weekly events for Wednesdays through Sundays! (Write On Wednesday, Booking Through Thursday, Friday Finds, Weekly Geeks on Saturdays, and the Sunday Salon). And, I don’t mind having Tuesdays free… there’s always LibraryThing.com’s “Tuesday Thingers” if I’m desperate to have Tuesdays, too! LOL.
There’ve been quite a few instances, recently, where my online book groups have discussed something, and it’s sparked a few thoughts in my head. I thought these things would make great fodder for blogging about books! And, I did post a couple of my thoughts here. I just figured that, by creating a weekly event for it, I could regularly blog about books, and it’d serve a dual-purpose by getting me to blog more. I’d like to blog more regularly, and the weekly events I’ve recently joined in on have greatly helped with that goal!
If I have one weekly event for almost every day of the week, I’m bound to blog more, right?
Now, I know it’s not Monday, yet, but I wanted to put this out there to give you all a “heads-up” for this coming Monday… that’s when I’ll put out my first post for this “event”. Stay tuned!
Here are some more buttons, in case anyone else decides to join in on the fun!…

It’s good to have those weekly prompts to get our minds stimulated! I’m looking forward to see what you’re musing about come Monday
I think this is pretty neat! I do The Sunday Salon and the Tuesday Thingers, so Mondays are free!
Hee hee… well, glad you two are on board! Thanks for your support!
this is a great idea. Almost always after finishing a book, it causes me to think about something – profound, funny, related, etc. I look forward to seeing what you have to say weekly.
I’ll give it a try. I wasn’t very good with essays in school. Judy
This looks fun! And of course J. Kaye beat me to it.
Have you come up with a thought for us to muse about this week? Judy
How neat! I’m in! And I like your graphic.
