Teaser Tuesdays (Aug.12)

August 12, 2008

 TEASER TUESDAYS ask you to:

  • Grab your current read.
  • Let the book fall open to a random page.
  • Share with us two (2) “teaser” sentences from that page, somewhere between lines 7 and 12.
  • You also need to share the title of the book that you’re getting your “teaser” from … that way people can have some great book recommendations if they like the teaser you’ve given!
  • Please avoid spoilers!
  • My own 2 “Teaser” sentences for today:

“He’ll be her perfect match. Like he was designed for her alone.”

~ from page 176 of “Eclipse” by Stephenie Meyer

((Note: I kind of “cheated” today, in that I chose the specific page… it was something I read last night, and it really was a great quote… I wanted to save it to remember it — and it makes a GREAT “teaser”… so I used it today. Hope you’ll forgive me!))

LEAVE A COMMENT with the link to your TEASER TUESDAYS post (if you have a blog), or just put your “teaser sentences” in your post here (if you don’t have a blog). :D

Sometimes I think that if I had to choose between an ear of corn or making love to a woman, I’d choose the corn. Not that I wouldn’t love to have a final roll in the hay – I am a man yet, and some things never die – but the thought of those sweet kernels burtsing between my teeth sure sets my mouth to watering.
