TEASER TUESDAYS asks you to:

  • Grab your current read.
  • Let the book fall open to a random page.
  • Share with us two (2) “teaser” sentences from that page, somewhere between lines 7 and 12.
  • You also need to share the title of the book that you’re getting your “teaser” from … that way people can have some great book recommendations if they like the teaser you’ve given!
  • Please avoid spoilers!
  • My 2 “Teaser” Sentences for today:

“The Man had him a still tucked up in the woods so he could make a little sippin whiskey. When I got older, he took me up there a time or two. ‘Climb up yonder and let me know if you see anybody comin,’ the Man’d say to me, and I’d climb up in the tree and watch for the sheriff.”
~ page 31, “Same Kind of Different As Me” by Ron Hall & Denver Moore

(yes, I know that’s more than 2 sentences, but it wouldn’t make sense, otherwise!) ;)

LEAVE A COMMENT with either the link to your own “Teaser Tuesdays” post, or share your “teaser” in a comment here (if you don’t have a blog). Thanks! :D
