REVIEW: “Blankets” by Craig Thompson
This was the first graphic novel I’ve ever read, and I enjoyed it, for the most part. Some parts were more “graphic” than I’d expected, but overall, the book was still good. I enjoyed the story, and some of the graphics were great! And the religious storyline was an unexpected pleasure. 
While the ending wasn’t entirely satisfying to me, I’d still recommend the book.

I’ve never read a graphic novel either (of course there’s always Captain Underpants I read to the kids), might have to try this sometime when I’m in the mood for something different!
I had to go buy New Moon couldn’t wait for the library!
I read my first graphic novels this year, too. I was surprised at how much I like them.
