REVIEW: “Crossed Wires” by Rosy Thornton

A cute, thoroughly British tale of two lives intersecting.
Mina Heppenstall works for an auto insurance company, and is first ‘introduced’ to Dr. Peter Kendrick when he calls in to report an accident he’s had. After that, things are different for the both of them.
The book tells of both Mina’s life with her daughter, and Peter’s with his twins. It wasn’t as much of a romance as I’d expected, but I enjoyed the story very much, nevertheless. I especially liked all of the British phrases & such. Always have been a sucker for that sort of thing.
Definitely recommended.

It is true, isn’t it? Somehow a book is more fun with British phrases in it! (And then I drive my husband crazy for a while by going around using them!)
This sounds so good. I’ll be reading it next month.
This was a fun book. I really enjoyed it.
