The Sunday Salon (June 21)
Another great week of reading for me! I finished 2 books!
The first one was “The End of Overeating” by Dr. David Kessler. An absolutely fascinating read! Click HERE to read my review.
The second — another weight loss book — was “I Can Make You Thin” by Paul McKenna. I hadn’t originally intended to read this book. But, some gals in my one online group were discussing it, and it had me intrigued. So, I got a copy from the library, and then read it in one night. I loved the principles of Intuitive Eating presented, but wasn’t fond about the rest of the stuff included. You can read my review of this one HERE.
This coming week, I have to do some serious reading… I have a review book due for a blog tour on Wednesday, and I’ve barely started it (“Talking to the Dead” by Bonnie Grove). And then, for the week after, I have another one — “How to Raise a Modern-Day Joseph” by Linda Massey Weddle — that needs to be read & reviewed for its tour date. So, I had better get busy on the reading front!
This past week, in the mail, I got my copy of Robin Parrish’s new book, “Offworld“, to review for Bethany House publishers. I was giddy to have it finally arrive! I can’t wait to read it! 
And, I’m waiting on a handful of other books to review, too… I love getting books in the mail! Mind you, I love providing reviews for other readers, too. So, it just all balances out.
