REVIEW: “The Other Boy” by Hailey Abbott

July 17, 2009

theotherboy_abbott

When Maddy Sinclair’s parents find out she’s thrown a forbidden “school’s out” party, they punish her by hauling her off, with them, to Napa Valley to work at their vineyard for the summer. Maddy is very upset by this, and thinks it’s the worst thing ever, especially since she had to leave her boyfriend, Brian, behind.

That is, until she meets David.

David is the hottie she’s forced to work alongside for the summer. When complications arise, Maddy must decide what to do, and who she really is.

This was a really cute book. I loved all the flirting, and the storyline was really well-written! I’ll be looking for more by this author. :)

    • Yeah, I could totally see myself reading this one on the beach. It’s the perfect “fluff” read. ;)

  3. I’ve seen quite a few books by this author at the book store, but haven’t crossed that bridge yet. Thanks for the review.

  4. I just looked for the book at the Sony eBook store and saw that Abbott wrote at least 9 books! Definitely checking her out.
