teasertuesdays31 Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:

 

  • Grab your current read
  • Open to a random page
  • Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
  • BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
  • Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

    That’s a straightforward teaser, for certain.
    Funny thing, I kept repeating ‘dark shadow’ in my mind, so I finally did a search on wikipedia – Dark Shadows was a Gothic soap opera in the late 60s, and Tim Burton/Johnny Depp are teaming up for a film version.

    Anyway, on a faintly related note, my teaser is from the screenplay of one of my favorite films – here.

    The Sacred Cipher – sounds scary but nice teaser

    it’s my first time participating and I already broken a rule – it’s more than 2 sentences – it’s a memoir and I really like the part I posted and didn’t think it sound right without the whole paragraph
