BTT: Recent Tear-jerker
This week’s Booking Through Thursday question asks:
What’s the saddest book you’ve read recently? (Is anyone getting bored with this series of ‘recent’ questions?)
I think the saddest book I read recently was “The Last Lecture” by Dr. Randy Pausch. It was really inspirational, but the fact that he’s now gone, and has left behind 3 young kids (in addition to his wife) just really got to me. So sad!
((side note: yes, I’m getting a tad bored with this series of “recents”… maybe I’m the only one. But, I just would like to see something different for a while. Sorry…but you asked!)).

I did notice that the amount of participation is lower. That does sound sad. Here is mine
I can see why The Last Lecture would evoke sadness. When you connect with a person on some level and then they die…sadness.
Here is my BTT.
Oh dear that does sound really sad. My worst nightmare is somebody I love dying.
The Last Lecture is really sad. I only read the book–never watched the actual lecture.
