teasertuesdays31 Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:

  • Grab your current read
  • Open to a random page
  • Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
  • BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
  • Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

      Oh, I don’t think the vampire is a Christian. And, really, I haven’t yet found anything that says “Christian” about this book… other than that the author is a Christian. So, don’t let that turn you off of this book! It’s just a good story!

    That’s one of those devices that is used more and more, making evil characters more palatable by having them dispatch even worse people, like those who “have it coming”, and then once you’ve identified with the main character, have them do worse and worse. (Ahhh, Godfather, you did this so well.)

    Is it a Christian novel because the author is or because the author’s a Christian and the book has Christian themes?

    Cuz I wouldn’t consider The Twilight novels religious in any way even though Stephenie Meyers is Mormon…..
