The Sunday Salon (Jan.31)
My reading has really changed over the last few years. It used to be that I could only manage about 3 books per month. And, most of those books were only between 100-250 pages in length. Nowadays, though, I am managing to read anywhere from 4-10 books per month, and they range in page-length from 250-600 pages, most of the time! Wow.
What brought on the changes? I have no idea, honestly. I expected to read less, once I started working again (I hadn’t worked in 11 years, as I’d chosen to be a stay-at-home-mom). But, somehow I’m reading more! Go figure. And, it’s not that I’m complaining, certainly!
LOL
Anyhoo. I’m currently reading “Ink Exchange” by Melissa Marr, and –although it was slow-going to start– I’m finding it hard to put down. Same as the previous book, “Wicked Lovely“.
I’m also attempting to read the e-book version of “Eats with Sinners” by Arron Chambers. This is a review book that will have a blog tour in early March. I say “attempting“, as normally I can’t read things on the computer — not for long, anyway. I get migraine headaches really easily. But, this book seems to have a big enough font that I can manage a chapter or so at a time. Given that, I’ll probably finish it. And, it’s good, so I’m glad to have the ability to read it!
I’m excited for the books I’ve got coming up for review — most of which will be blog tours. If you want to see the list, please see my Blog Tours page, here at Should Be Reading.
There are some books on there that are a little out of my reading comfort zone, and there are a couple by my favorite authors. The others are all new-to-me, so that’s exciting, too!

Sometimes I think when I have more on my plate, I read more. It must have something to do with making sure I carve out the time to do what I love best.
Enjoy your week.
