Bunches of New Books!
I recently received a flyer in the mail, asking if I wanted to join Crafter’s Choice book club (a branch of Doubleday). Normally, while I like their books, I would’ve said ‘no’. I belong to three other mail-order book clubs already, so I don’t really need another. But, this time I caved… and my introductory package should be here within a couple of weeks! Here’s what I ordered from them:
“101 Gorgeous Earrings” (various authors)
“The Complete Guide to Bead & Wire Jewelry” by Linda Jones
“Incredible Edibles” by Sonia Day
“Precious Jewelry” by Cheryl Owen
There was one other, but I got it as a sort of surprise gift for someone in my family, and I don’t want to mention it here, for fear they read my blog and it would ruin the surprise.
I also, recently, put in an Amazon.ca order, as I’ve been wanting to get some books from my wishlist for a while, and figured now would be a good time to do that. So, here’s what I have coming to me from that order:
“Almost Sex” by Michael & Hayley DiMarco
“Dug Down Deep” by Joshua Harris
“Every Thought Captive” by Jerusha Clark
“The Eden Diet Workbook” by Rita Hancock, M.D.
“Wild Goose Chase” by Mark Batterson
I can’t wait until all of these books come in the mail! I love getting new books, and some of those Amazon ones are books that I’ve been dying to read, lately! The crafting ones just plain look like fun — I’m really itching to try beading, but that’ll probably have to wait awhile while I save up money to buy the supplies.
Oh, and lest I forget, I also have several review books coming, too!
“Real World Parents” by Mark Matlock
“What Happened to My Life?” by Danna Demetre
“Fatal Loyalty” by Sue Duffy
“Reborn To Be Wild” by Ed Underwood
Yay for new books!

Wow!

I want to join the Crafter’s Book Club! That sounds like so much fun!! Is it expensive?

It’s not terribly expensive… books range from $7-$50, I think. Something like that, anyway.
