WWW Wednesdays (Apr.28)

April 28, 2010

To play along, just answer the following three (3) questions…

* What are you currently reading?
* What did you recently finish reading?
* What do you think you’ll read next?

My answers:

What are you currently reading?

I’m reading “Character Is the Key” by Sara Dimerman. It’s based loosely around the ‘Character Matters‘ program that’s run in schools, teaching ten different character traits by modeling them to children. It’s a really good book, so far!

What did you recently finish reading?

Last book I finished was “Preparing Your Daughter for Every Woman’s Battle” by Shannon Ethridge. It was okay. I rated it B-.

What do you think you’ll read next?

I’m really not sure. I’ve still got a few library books to go through (“God Is” by David A. Richards, “Bird by Bird” by Anne Lamott, and “Unconditional Parenting” by Alfie Kohn), but I also have a couple of review books that I’ll need to get to sometime soon (“On Guard” by William L. Craig, “Sing” by Lisa Bergren, and “So Much More Than Sexy” by Mark Atteberry). So, we’ll see. I’ll have to wait and figure out what I’m in the mood for. ;)

PLEASE LEAVE A COMMENT with either the link to your own WWW Wednesdays post, or share your answers in a comment here (if you don’t have a blog). Thanks! :D

I haven’t read Preparing Your Daughter for Every Woman’s Battle but I read and gave to my daughter Every Young Womens Battle by the same author. I did like that one, and thought it was helpful for my daughter, also. But it’s for older teens, I think.

    • Yeah, I have Every Young Woman’s Battle, too — haven’t read it, yet, though. And, you’re right… it’s for the next level up (for teens).

I have –and have read– the adult woman’s version, “Every Woman’s Battle“, and it’s been very useful!

  4. They all sound good!

    Here’s mine.

  5. I really need to get to Bird by Bird; Lamott is on the cover of the latest issue of Writer’s Digest and it made me wish I’d read it already!
