This week’s question was inspired by an online book group I belong to…

Who in your family (both immediate & extended) are readers, and who are not?

In my immediate family, hubby is a reader (loves Robert Jordan and Terry Goodkind, as well as books about the maths & sciences), and both kids –son & daughter– are growing up to be readers, too (thank the Lord! LOL).

In my extended family… my Mom is a reader (inspirational, Christian fiction & nonfiction), step-dad is a reader (history), Dad is a reader (espionage, thrillers), step-mom is a reader (romance), sister is a reader (bit of everything), brother is –kind of– a reader… but only just within the last 10 years, half-sister is a reader (teen lit, etc), and my Grandma (mom’s mom) is a reader (inspirational, Christian fiction & nonfiction)!

Basically, I’m surrounded by those who read! And, it’s a wonderful feeling! Mind you, I’d never really thought about how many readers are in my family until I came across this question! LOL. I knew my family members read books, but wasn’t really paying attention to the fact that almost ALL of them read! :P I am truly blessed!

    My husband reads all the time. As for my children, my youngest daughter and my second daughter read alot. My youngest is reading one of Oscar Wilde’s books.
