The Sunday Salon (June 27)
This past week has been a bit crazy. While I didn’t have to work a whole lot, I did have a bunch of life-stresses going on, and that made for a poor reading week.

I am still working on “The Unshakable Truth” by Josh & Sean McDowell. And, I’m also digging into one of the books from my shelf: “Marked” by P.C. and Kristen Cast.
My friend and I are supposed to be going to see the new Twilight movie, “Eclipse” this coming week, some time, and I can’t wait! I’m so excited!
I’m not one of those crazy, obsessed fans, mind you, who will stand in line for hours on opening day, and then scream throughout the film, every time either ‘Jacob’ or ‘Edward’ comes on the screen. But, I am hoping to go shortly after opening day, and I will thoroughly enjoy watching a good book come to “life” on the screen.
My husband’s birthday is this week, so there are a lot of family get-togethers going on, plus it’ll be Canada Day on Thursday, and we still have those life-stresses that need to be dealt with this week, too. So, it’s going to be busy, and I don’t know how much reading I’ll get done. I’m not holding my breath about finishing any books, really. We’ll just see how far we get.
