REVIEW: “Perfect Timing” by Jill Mansell

July 14, 2010

This was quite the soap-opera of a book! But, it was entertaining, and a good, light read. I finished the majority of this 431-page chunker in a day. :)

Poppy was a likeable enough character, and for the most part, the others in the book were well fleshed-out, too. I loved that this novel is full of British sayings and such.

I did see the ending coming, a bit, but that didn’t make the story any less enjoyable. I’ll definitely try more by this author.

Mansell writes a very entertaining book. I’ve got an arc of her Take a Chance on Me in the TBR pile. I’m looking forward to it. Have a good week!

  2. I’ve enjoyed this author in the past. I’ll keep an eye out for this one, too.

  3. (I missed the draft.)

Please be patient if your comment doesn't show up right away... I will 'release' it as soon as I can. Thanks for your thoughts! ~MizB
