REVIEW: “Perfect Timing” by Jill Mansell
This was quite the soap-opera of a book! But, it was entertaining, and a good, light read. I finished the majority of this 431-page chunker in a day.
Poppy was a likeable enough character, and for the most part, the others in the book were well fleshed-out, too. I loved that this novel is full of British sayings and such.
I did see the ending coming, a bit, but that didn’t make the story any less enjoyable. I’ll definitely try more by this author.

Mansell writes a very entertaining book. I’ve got an arc of her Take a Chance on Me in the TBR pile. I’m looking forward to it. Have a good week!

I’ve enjoyed this author in the past. I’ll keep an eye out for this one, too.
(I missed the draft.)
