REVIEW: “City of Bones” by Cassandra Clare

July 22, 2010

I wasn’t sure if I’d like this book, but a coworker said he was reading it, and recommended it highly. So, I figured I’d give it a try.

Sure enough, I couldn’t put it down. There was a lot of stuff going on in this one, but I still really enjoyed it, and didn’t see the twists & turns coming.

Marce, of Tea with Marce, said this is an “unlikely read” for me. Perhaps she’s right, in that there were warlocks, witches, spells, brain blocks, and a twist on the biblical “Nephilim”. That didn’t stop me from enjoying the book, though. ;)

Whether or not I’ll continue with the series is yet to be seen. I will wait a bit, at the very least. :D

  1. One thing I liked about the whole series is that I thought all three books were good reads. This series is consistent, which is somewhat hard to find.

  2. I completely agree with Jenn. The last book was the best for me. It’s rare that the books in a series just keep getting better.

  3. I can’t wait to read more set in this world!

Please be patient if your comment doesn't show up right away... I will 'release' it as soon as I can. Thanks for your thoughts! ~MizB
