REVIEW: “Your Roots Are Showing” by Elise Chidley
Lizzie Buckley is devastated and depressed after accidentally sending an email to her husband that was meant for her sister, as her husband then decides they should separate. Taking their 3-yr-old twins, Lizzie moves into a cottage, and tries to start over. But, she just can’t seem to get through her blues.
Enter her best friend, Tessa, who gives her some tough love, and encourages her to see that maybe all is not lost. So, Lizzie embarks on a journey to reinvent herself and see if she can’t patch things up, after all.
This book was so full of ups and downs, quirky British sayings, and laugh-out-loud humor… I totally couldn’t put it down. It kept me wanting to know how things would turn out… I could never guess! Sometimes I thought I had things figured out, but then I’d find I was all wrong. And, goodness knows, I kept getting mad at the main characters for not just coming out with things that needed to be said or done! LOL.
Definitely a good read that’s up there on my Top 10 list, now.

This sounds really cute and fun — and I can totally imagine the sheer dread of realizing that you sent an email of personal information to the wrong person!! Oh, my!! Putting on Paperbackswap wish list…!
Actually — woohoo! I wasn’t on a wish list, I was able to order it straight out!! Yay me!
Nice! I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. It’s really cute.

This one just makes me wonder what was the content of her letter that it had the power to end her marriage

Happy Reading!
I apologize my posting the wrong blog name last week. I had “I Should Be Reading” instead of just “Should be Reading.” Your pick looks cute. Here’s mine
I’ve seen other good reviews for this. So glad you enjoyed it too! I’ll be looking for it now!
