teasertuesdays31 Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:

  • Grab your current read
  • Open to a random page
  • Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
  • BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
  • Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

    I don’t like that thought. I’d be tempted to let everything go west, do whatever I wanted, tell people exactly what I thought of them and basically create merry hell…but, what if I didn’t die at the end of that. I would have upset everyone and totally wrecked every relationship I’d previously worked so hard to build. Personally, I don’t think it’d be a good idea to know how long I have to go.

      This isn’t supposed to be a depressing book, though — I’m not really far into it, but it’s supposed to be about living life to the fullest… about making the most of your time alive, ’cause all of us will die, eventually.

      Very true, but a lot of people live their lives just “going through the motions”… they don’t focus on their spiritual health, etc. So, this book is (supposedly) a good reminder to put our focus back where it belongs — on living the abundant life God’s promised us! ;)
