REVIEW: “The Dip” by Seth Godin

September 25, 2010

“…A Little Book That Teaches You When to Quit and When to Stick” (sub-Title).

‘The Dip’ is the long slog between beginner’s luck, and excellence… it’s where, if you stick with it while everyone else is quitting, you’ll be the best in ‘your’ world. Quit those things that aren’t getting you anywhere, and focus on what’s really worthwhile.

I enjoyed this book. It’s short and sweet, but definitely motivating and powerful! The illustrations are cute, and Mr. Godin has a way of inspiring you to keep pressing on. I look forward to trying his other books, too!

  1. I read this about two years back when I was in a dead end job I was stuck with. After reading it, I decided to quit and am now much happier. Sometimes you just have to know when to call it quits and pursue things that are more worthy.

Please be patient if your comment doesn't show up right away... I will 'release' it as soon as I can. Thanks for your thoughts! ~MizB
