The Sunday Salon (Nov.28)

November 28, 2010

This week I have been reading “The Practical Dreamer’s Handbook” by Paul and Sarah Edwards. It’s a really good book, and has me really thinking about all of my dreams (not the nighttime ones) and why I’m not chasing after them. Why do I make excuses like, “There isn’t enough money“, when I could do other things to prepare for when there is? Or, when I could be doing something to acquire the money I need (saving) to pursue my dreams? Anyway. It’s just a very thought-provoking book.

Yesterday, I posted about how I’m setting aside several of my weekly memes: Musing Mondays, New Beginnings Wednesdays, and WWW Wednesdays. I need to blog a little less than I’ve been because my personal life is starting to get a little too crowded, and I don’t have as much time to be online, any more. It might even get a bit busier, still… we shall see. But, as of right now, I just know that I’m feeling drained, and blogging is supposed to be fun. :D

Teaser Tuesdays and Friday Finds will still be running. I don’t intend to get rid of those, as they’re my favorites. And, I need to keep something! LOL.

This week I’ll be working a couple of long shifts, so I won’t get a ton of reading in. But, I intend to do as much as I can, because “The Practical Dreamer’s Handbook” is due back at the library by Wednesday, and then I have one week to read my other library book, “The Renaissance Soul” by Margaret Lobenstine.
