REVIEW: “The Practical Dreamer’s Handbook” by Paul & Sarah Edwards
This is a thought-provoking book about giving up your excuses regarding time, money, and energy, and finally chasing after the dreams in your heart.
The descriptions Sarah gave of her life in Pine Mountain made me crave finding a community like that for myself! LOL. In fact, I’m fully intent on looking up the website she gave, later on today!
The book is filled with prompts to get you to reflect more on what your dreams are, and why you’re procrastinating on making them a reality in your life. So many times, I caught myself drifting off into a daydream — imagining what life would be like if I were pursuing this dream or that one… it made this book take a lot longer to read than it should have! LOL.
Unfortunately, I found the last few chapters of the book to be pretty slow. Things kind of lagged for me. But, otherwise, the rest of the book was really interesting, and I enjoyed it. I’d definitely recommend it to others, especially if you’re a dreamer like me — or if you just want to slow down the pace of things, a bit, and follow after your long-held dreams.
Rated: B-

Sounds like the kind of book you don’t just read, but absorb over a period of time.

Nice teaser. Mine’s here
Dreaming is always good but like everything it’s so much to live a dream than to keep wishing for it.
Great review and I really love the new look. It really does POP out
Sounds worthwhile. I think a lot of us have dreams of “if only.”
