December 28, 2010

teasertuesdays31 Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:

  • Grab your current read
  • Open to a random page
  • Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
  • BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
  • Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

      It’s based loosely off of the “Twilight” series… It shows that, when reading the series, many girls long for a real-life “hero” like ‘Edward’ to come sweep them off their feet — and that they can have it, too … God is that hero. :)

    Your teaser lines were very misleading. When I found the full book synopsis, it was nothing like I had imagined it would be, you had me fooled.

    That sounds like an interesting book! I do sometimes wonder why vampires have such appeal. I have two teasers this week. My YA teaser is from Anna and the French Kiss and my adult teaser is from The Secret History of the Pink Carnation. I guess I was in a mood for romance. Happy reading!

      I really enjoyed this book; Deaver has so many twists and turns in his novels and I never figure out the ending(s) until the very last paragraph (and then of course I’ve not figured it out . . . Deaver has fleshed it out).
