Musing Mondays (Feb.14)
This week’s musing (in honor of St. Valentine‘s Day) asks two questions, but you only need to answer one…
If you read romance novels, answer this question:
Who are your favorite “romance” authors? Why?If you do NOT read romance novels, answer this question instead:
Do you read love-themed books in honor of Valentine’s Day? Or, Valentine’s Day books, specifically? If so, give us some examples! If not, why not?
I occasionally will read romance novels. But, when I do, I prefer them to be set in Regency (1800′s era) England. I’ve got English blood, so I think that’s why I lean that way.
Out of the few favorite authors I have from the genre, Gaelen Foley tops the list! I started out by reading the second book in her Knight family series, and then had to read everything else she’d written! Now I own most of her books, and have read almost all of them (though, I’m falling behind, lately, and haven’t read the 3 newest).
I used to read a lot of Candace Camp novels, but have gotten away from that. Not because I don’t like her work any more, but just because I haven’t read a ton from this genre in a while.
And, other favorite authors have included Victoria Malvey, Sabrina Jeffries, and Suzanne Enoch. I’m still finding more, though, to add to my list. Most recently, it was Alexandra Hawkins, with her book, “All Night With a Rogue“.
PLEASE LEAVE A COMMENT with either the link to your own Musing Mondays post, or share your answer in a comment here (if you don’t have a blog). Thanks!

I do usually read romance but I do happen to read one. Musing is up.
It should have read “I don’t usually read romance…” Oops!
I haven’t read much regency romance.
