Faithful Friends (Mar.26)
This week’s Faithful Friends event asks…
What image do those around you have of Christianity? Is it positive, or negative? Why do you think this is?
I have a Christian family, so I know that their image of Christianity is positive, for the most part. But, I also have another group around me that isn’t born-again, and they view it a little different. I’ve been told that Christians are too hypocritical, and out of touch with reality… their words and their actions don’t line up, and they have lived too sheltered of a life.
I think, overall, Christianity has a bad image. It no longer, IMHO, reflects what Christ meant it to be, originally. I think we’ve lost something over the years.
I’m currently reading the book, “unChristian” by David Kinnamen & Gabe Lyons, and that’s what prompted this week’s question. They talk about the biggest obstacles to people becoming Christians, and what we can possibly do to change all of that. I’d recommend it.
PLEASE LEAVE A COMMENT with either the link to your own Faithful Friends post, or share your answer in a comment here (if you don’t have a blog). But, please remember that we are only sharing our own opinions, not attacking others for their’s. Thank you!

Just wanted to say how much I love this series and love reading your answers. I usually don’t post my answers but you always give me something to think about and I so appreciate it
Well, thank you for sharing that! I’m glad to hear it, actually, ’cause I’ve been wondering if anyone really cares about this meme.
