REVIEW: “unChristian” by David Kinnaman & Gabe Lyons
When Gabe Lyons felt led to research the image of Christianity, he approached David Kinnaman about the project. David works for The Barna Group, a leading research company. And, what they found shocked them.
Christianity has gained a very bad image, lately. The biggest labels outsiders give to the faith are “hypocritical”, “judgemental”, and “out of touch with reality”. This book touches on those labels, as well as three others, and shows what we can possibly do to return Christianity to what God originally intended it to be.
Even though there were a lot of statistics shared in this book, I found it to be really easy to read, and enlightening. I most liked the opinions from other Christian authors & pastors, given at the end of each chapter.
