The Sunday Salon (Apr.24)
Well, first and foremost today, I want to wish all of my readers a very HAPPY EASTER!
Yesterday, it was an absolutely GORGEOUS day, here! Warm weather, lots of sunshine… made it a lot easier to get done all of the things I had to do! But, I also finished a book.
I finished reading “The Lady of Bolton Hill” by Elizabeth Camden, and must HIGHLY recommend it! It’s absolutely fabulous! My review is in the previous post.
I also got to buy books, this past week! I ordered the 4 from Amazon that I’d mentioned in last week’s Sunday Salon post. Plus, I also got an eBook ~ “First Love” by Michelle Sutton (book 2, Tombstone Treasures). I had found this book online, a week or two ago, but found out that it’s only available in eBook format. I do own an eReader, but thought the book was only for Kindle. Then I took a chance and looked it up on the Kobo books website, and sure enough, they had a copy — for only $4.99. So, I put it in my ‘cart’, to think about it for a minute… and it came up saying I would owe $1.79. And, I thought, “Huh?” As it turns out, I’d forgotten that I had $3.30 in “store credit” there, so I could get the book for less than two dollars!
Yippee!
Today, my family and I are heading over to my Mom’s for Easter dinner, and an egg-hunt for the kids. I love watching my nieces & nephew hunt for the eggs.
It’s fun watching my own kids, too, of course, but they’re getting to the age where it’s just not as cute. LOL. They’re almost too old for egg-hunting any more.
Anyhoo. I hope everyone has a wonderful day today. He is risen!

I actually visited Tombstone a few months ago so I popped over to goodreads to check out the first book in the series and bought it! Thanks for mentioning it
Happy Easter to you and yours.
You’re welcome, Mary! And, Happy Easter to you & yours, as well!
Happy Easter! Sounds like you’ll have a lot of fun today. Everything just seems easier when the weather is nice, doesn’t it?
I’ve been using the extraordinary good weather to sit in my garden and read. See my Sunday Salon: http://bookwormsandtea.blogspot.com/2011/04/sunday-salon-outside-readings.html
I’m so glad you found my book on Kobo! I just got the cover of the third book (releasing in June) and you can see it on Goodreads.
