REVIEW: “Sun Stand Still” by Steven Furtick

May 14, 2011

Pastor, Steven Furtick, believes that everyone should be praying Sun Stand Still prayers — prayers that are audacious, and believe God for the impossible.

The book is based around the verse in Joshua 10 that tells of how Joshua asked God to make the sun stand still, and God answered by having the sun stay up for a full extra day. Pastor Furtick believes that we have the same power to ask God for the same kind of miracles. We just have to act in faith.

Of course, there’s much more to it than that… but you’ll have to read the book for yourself to find out what it is. ;)

LOL. Sorry! That’s what I get for posting a book review when I’m super-tired!

Yes, I liked the book. It was inspiring. You can actually read my next post — up today (Sunday Salon, May 15) — in which I actually talk about this book a bit more. ;)

Thanks for pointing this out, though!
