WWW Wednesdays (July 27)

July 27, 2011

To play along, just answer the following three (3) questions…

• What are you currently reading?
• What did you recently finish reading?
• What do you think you’ll read next?

My Answers:

What are you currently reading? I’m reading Robert Masello’s, “The Medusa Amulet“. It started off slow, but now it’s picking up the pace and I’m hating that I don’t have enough time to read! I want to keep going, nonstop, and find out what happens! LOL.

What did you recently finish reading? Last book I finished was “Eat: The Effortless Weight Loss Solution” by Ian K. Smith. Not a diet book, really, but just simple suggestions for how to eat healthier, overall. Good stuff, and recommended.

What do you think you’ll read next? Probably a review book. I’ve got “Shadows On the Sand” by Gayle Roper, and “Mirror Ball” by Matt Redman. And, “Heiress” by Susan May Warren will be showing up in my mailbox soon, I’m sure!

PLEASE LEAVE A COMMENT with either the link to your own WWW Wednesdays post, or share your answers in a comment here (if you don’t have a blog). Thanks! :D

  1. I’m surprised you read Eat: The Effortless Weight Loss Solution. I think I need that one but I’m afraid I won’t be able to finish that! lol! Anyway, here’s my WWW Wednesday post: http://books4juliet.blogspot.com/2011/07/www-wednesdays-2.html

    • Okay… out of curiosity… why are you surprised that I read Eat: The Effortless Weight Loss Solution?

      • I don’t know… maybe because I wasn’t expecting it on your post today. I usually see fiction books on other blogs so maybe that’s why.. Did I unintentionally offend you? SO sorry, I didn’t mean anything ;)

      • April ~ No, no… I’m not offended at all! I was just curious! :P

I never know who’s a new visitor or who’s been here before (other than the most frequent followers, of course). So, I just wondered why it was surprising to you — I do read a lot of nonfiction, so that will show up on my blog quite frequently.

        No worries. ;)

      • I’m just a new blogger. I’m a new follower too, 2 weeks to be exact. It’s my 2nd time in WWW Wednesdays… Thanks for this meme, it really is FUN! :) It’s been a while since I read a non-fictional book so I guess that’s another reason why I was surprised. :) I’m glad I didn’t offend you. I was really worried… ;)

  2. Interesting choices. I try to give the slow starting ones the benefit of doubt and continue reading because a lot of times I am pleasantly surprised. Happy to hear Medusa Amulet is one of those.

  22. I know I should try to eat healthier, but it feels like there are lots of roadblocks: fresh/organic food is more expensive, takes more prep time, and doesn’t always taste that good. :p
