WWW Wednesdays (Aug.3)

August 3, 2011

To play along, just answer the following three (3) questions…

• What are you currently reading?
• What did you recently finish reading?
• What do you think you’ll read next?

My answers:

What are you currently reading? I’m reading another eBook, “Beautiful Outlaw” by John Eldredge. It’s about the personality of Jesus, and it’s a fabulous book. Giving me a totally fresh outlook, and I love it! :D

What did you recently finish reading? Finished Debbie Viguie’s “Kiss of Night” (eBook), yesterday. Such a great book! Can’t wait for the second in the series… but it comes out next year! :( Oh well.

What do you think you’ll read next? Probably yet another review book. I’m debating, though… I have a couple more eBook reviews to do for NetGalley (“Not a Fan” by Kyle Idleman, and “Sticky Faith” by Kara E. Powell), but I might take a break from eReading, and read my paperback review books — “Shadows on the Sand” by Gayle Roper, or “Mirror Ball” by Matt Redman.

PLEASE LEAVE A COMMENT with either the link to your own WWW Wednesdays post, or share your answer in a comment here (if you don’t have a blog). Thanks! :D

  21. Hello! Happy WWW Wednesday to all! It’s my 3rd time joining in. Here’s my WWW Wednesday

    ~April

  22. The cover of <Not a fan. looks like an homage (or un-homage, based on the title) to Bell’s Love Wins. What’s it about?

Here’s my WWW. Better late than never!

    • You’re right, it does look sort of the same!

But, this book in no way is similar to Rob Bell’s “Love Wins“. This one talks about the difference between being a truly committed follower of Jesus, and just being a ‘fan’ of Him; the difference between being devoted to Jesus, or just saying we are Christians.

There’s a video teaching series by the same name, and my church watched it together. It was sooooo good! That’s why I asked to review this book. Wanted to refresh the principles in my mind. ;)

  23. What is your email Miz, would like to nominate your meme Teaser Tuesday but need your email, thanks.

  24. Glad you loved Kiss of Night!

Please be patient if your comment doesn't show up right away... I will 'release' it as soon as I can. Thanks for your thoughts! ~MizB
