REVIEW: “A Confident Heart” by Renee Swope
This is a great book that reminds us that God has equipped us to be confident women… in Him. When we remember that He is our strength and ability, and we keep our focus on Him, we are more likely to remain confident and not doubt ourselves.
I loved how I could relate to so much of what Renee shared. I, too, have struggled with depression, and have made mistakes that I thought would disqualify me from serving God. I, too, have gotten so overwhelmingly stressed that I’ve had to deal with anxiety issues. Thankfully, this doesn’t change the fact that I can overcome and be confident through God.
Recommended.

Great review (: This book sounds amazing and it seems like a God-thing that it was put in your life. I recently stumbled upon 1 Timothy 1:12-17. It really opened my eyes and made me remember that God saves sinners <3 God bless,

This is a much-needed topic, in that many evangelical churches are close to 60% female, and with the strong emphasis there is on marriage and family, it can be tempting for women to settle for a guy too easily. I think a lesson in confidence and focus can some in very handy,
