Musing Mondays (Aug.22)
This week’s musing asks…
Do you prefer character-driven stories, or plot-driven stories?
I prefer character-driven stories. If the characters aren’t realistic, or if I can’t relate to them in any way, I will probably rate the book lower than if I was drawn to the characters in some way.
Plot-driven stories are okay, but the book has to have characters that appeal, too, or else it just won’t move me the same way.

I definitely prefer character-driven stories. They can elevate a so-so plot, but if the characters aren’t good, no plot in the world can save a story in my opinion.
