REVIEW: “{W}hole” by Lisa Whittle
Lisa Whittle has been through a lot in her life… she lost something dear to her, and it caused years of heartache and confusion.
But, it also drew her closer to Jesus. And, this book is about how you can learn to let God fill the holes in your own life, thereby making you whole.
I enjoyed this book, and found the stories inside to be really interesting. I could relate to some of what Lisa talked about, especially her hurts incurred at the hands of a church. Unfortunately, this sort of thing happens to more of us than it should. But, Lisa shows that it is possible to eventually move past those hurts, and even to love the church again.
Recommended.

Thank you for reading and reviewing my book, MizB. As you have seen in its pages, I dove in deep with this…and though at times difficult to write…I’m grateful to get to share what has profoundly impacted my life. I’m excited that you read it quickly, and I appreciate you recommending it on your site. Again, thank you for your feedback on {w}hole.
And thank YOU, Lisa, for stopping by to leave a comment here!
I found your book so intriguing because I,too, have had issues with the church, and haven’t yet gotten to the point where I’m able to “love” it again, yet. Your book gives hope that it’s possible. Thanks!
