WWW Wednesdays (Aug.31)

August 31, 2011

To play along, just answer the following three (3) questions…

• What are you currently reading?
• What did you recently finish reading?
• What do you think you’ll read next?

My answers:

What are you currently reading? I’m in between books, at the moment, but have opened up — and put a bookmark in — “Wanderlove” by Kirsten Hubbard (an eBook). So, I think that’s what I’ll be reading.

What did you recently finish reading? I finished Victoria Dahl’s “Bad Boys Do“, the other night, and it was good, if a little spicier than I’d expected it to be. ;)

What do you think you’ll read next? I am still awaiting my review copy of “Heiress” by Susan May Warren, and plan to drop whatever else I’m reading in favor of it when it shows up — deadline for the blog tour is fast approaching! But, in the meantime, I think I’ll be picking up “Tris & Izzie” by Mette Ivy Harrison — another eBook review book — after I finish “Wanderlove“.

PLEASE LEAVE A COMMENT with either the link  to your own WWW Wednesdays post, or share your answers in a comment here (if you don’t have a blog). Thanks! :D

  8. I’ve never read Victoria Dahl, but I keep hearing good things about her stories. “Bad Boys Do” – fun title! Must check it out.

So many books! So little time!

  10. A while ago, authors were debating why male authors were getting all the attention in book reviews. Most of the reviews posted by people on this blog are of books by women; I think those authors need to look past the New York Times Book Review (as much as I enjoy that publication) and see what’s out here.

That said, here’s mine (all male authors, BTW):

  16. What are you currently reading?
I’m in between books, at the moment, however I’m currently editing my mss. My editor has so kindly provided me with his thoughts in red ink. Its going to be a long day ahead. Good thing I have plenty of lemonade and air conditioning.

What did you recently finish reading?
I just finished Invisible Monsters by Chuck Palahniuk. This novel was a cluster-disaster. Full of intricate twists, bizarre characters, and–as always–interesting inner dialogue.

What do you think you’ll read next?
Next on my list is Rant by Chuck Palahniuk, which comes highly recommended by a dear friend. I’ll probably read all his books. They’re so different and for some many different reasons.

    Write well,
    Robin
