Teaser Tuesdays (Oct.12)

October 11, 2011

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:

  • Grab your current read
  • Open to a random page
  • Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
  • BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
  • Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

My Teasers:

“My imagination would form a vignette in my mind about what would happen if they found out that he hadn’t come to bed last night. Would they think it was because  Iwas not attractive enough to earn his love?”

~ p.44,Married Mom, Solo Parent” by Carla Ann Coroy

PLEASE LEAVE A COMMENT with either the link to your own Teaser Tuesdays post, or share your ‘teasers’ in a comment here (if you don’t have a blog). Thanks!

{Remember: the link for the comments is at the TOP of this post}

  14. Hi MizB and thanks for hosting,

    Great teaser lines, which seemed to be highlighting someone who was sad and troubled.

    Afraid I had to cheat and check out the synopsis, because I couldn’t work out if we were talking fiction or non-fiction here.

    What a powerful and emotional book this sounds, maybe not one for me, but poignant in these stressful times.
