Musing Mondays (Oct.22)
Do you ever get crushes on fictional characters? Name one (or a few), and tell what you liked…
My answer: Sure I do! LOL. It’s silly, but I think it’s part of the fun of reading.
Fictional crushes for me have included “Stark” from the House of Night Series (ZoĆ«’s warrior). He is an example of strength and dependability, so I think that’s what the draw is for me there. And, then there’s Damon from Gaelen Foley’s “Knight” miscellany. He’s one of the Knight brothers, and I think my draw comes from him being a bad boy… but not the baddest of the bunch, either. An English “rogue”, but still sweet underneath.
Others include Jake Russo from “Fireworks Over Toccoa” by Jeffrey Stepakoff (Jake was passionate and treated Lily well), Dex Thaler from “Something Borrowed” by Emily Giffin (he’s charming), and Damon Salvatore from “The Vampire Diaries” by L. J. Smith (there’s that bad boy thing, again! LOL).
PLEASE LEAVE A COMMENT with either the link to your own Musing Mondays post, or share your answer in a comment here (if you don’t have a blog). Thanks!

I love The Vampire Diaries show on TV, but I haven’t read any of the books yet. But I like Damon, too on the show, which I probably will in the book as well, lol. Here is my Musing.

I don’t think I do and here’s why
I totally have crushes on characters in books! Ranger in the Stephanie Plum series and Eric in the Sookie Stackhouse novels are two who come to ming immediately.

What a fun question! Here’s my answer: http://www.kwizgiver.com/2012/10/musing-mondays_22.html
Yes crushing on fictional characters makes reading fun, I think it does any book justice when we are able to be sucked in and become part of the characters world.
Here’s my book crushes:

Good lord, all the time! I have a huge crush on Harry Dresden from the Dresden Files, and I was falling hard for Judas Coyne in Heart Shaped Box. I’ve always had a thing for Hawk from the Spencer mystery series. I could list more, but it would get embarrassing!
What fun! Here is my answer, although a day late.
