God-Sized Dreams: Stepping Out…
Last week, the Team introduced their God-Sized Dreams. In case you didn’t catch mine, you can view them {here}. And, I’m happy to report that I am entrenched in working on them!
[1] I have been reading my Bible, daily, gathering insights into God’s character so that I can know Him better, and thereby trust Him more. I’m keeping a journal close by while I read, so I can jot down everything I find.
[2] I found a book called, “The Respect Dare” by Nina Roesner, that I think will really help me in part of my ‘relating’ dream.
[3] God has been challenging my patience, but I expected no less. When you ask God to give you patience, He gives you opportunities to practice being patient… {and yes, I got this analogy from the movie, “Evan Almighty“}. But, I’m praying through it.
[4] My efforts toward going back to Intuitive Eating are paying off, as I’ve already lost a few pounds just by waiting for true hunger, and listening for my cue to stop eating before I’m over-full. Yay! I have some skirts in my closet that I am soooo looking forward to fitting back into!
[5] I was lost with the writing dream, at first, but then I got a bunch of books on Writing out of the local library, and the one of them reminded me that, in order to write non-fiction, it’s best to start with an outline… and a proposal. At first, I didn’t know what a proposal was, in regards to writing. But, then I read that it’s like a business plan! And, this cracked me up, as the job I’m just leaving was all about helping people write up business plans as they prepare to start their own businesses — talk about writing “what you know”! So, I am working on my outline, and researching what I’ll need for my proposal.

Congratulations! It sounds like you made TONS of small steps. I too have found that having a table of contents, even if it changes a million times, helps to at least point you in the right direction!
Congratulations on making so much progress! You have lots of dreams like I do. I only wrote one down. But it looks like your managing them all pretty well!
Thanks, ladies!
