Musing Mondays (Jan.14)

My musing… 

One of my reading habits is to -gasp!- dog-ear pages… but only if I don’t have a notebook handy to take notes. Yes, I’ve used Post-It Flags before… but I don’t always have those on hand. So, yeah. I’m guilty of this reading “sin”. I try not to, though, believe me… I try to always have a notebook with me if it’s non-fiction (which is when I usually do this).

    I was a chronic dog- earer … But am trying to reform myself. I’m determined to get some nice bookmarks to have on hand and I now use a notebook too.

      Oh, I have bookmarks! I just don’t want to put one in every spot where there’s a quote I want to recall! I use a bookmark to mark the place where I leave off, when I put the book aside. But, not to mark the interesting bits. That’s where my problem lies… the “Flags” work… but I don’t always have some.

    Oh, bad you… I never dog-ear my books, I use the post tabs, or write notes to myself, to mark where I left off I use a bookmark and a post-it tab.

    GASP! I know it happens. I don’t dog ear pages, but that doesn’t mean my books are in good shape. I’m a “rough” reader. None of my read books look brand new. Oh well. Books are meant to be READ and enjoyed!
