WWW Wednesdays (Jan.23)

January 23, 2013

WWW_Wednesdays4To play along, just answer the following three (3) questions…

• What are you currently reading?
• What did you recently finish reading?
• What do you think you’ll read next?

My answers:

Vanished_IreneHannonWhat are you currently reading? I am just starting “Vanished” by Irene Hannon. I haven’t been reading much, lately, as my computer has been distracting me ((sheepish grin)). But, I have a pile of books I need to get to, so I’m hoping to start that today.

DoWhatYouCanPlan_HolleyGerth_EBOOKWhat did you recently finish reading? The last book I finished was still the re-read of “The Do What You Can Plan” by Holley Gerth. I tried to read “The Tutor’s Daughter” by Julie Klassen, but didn’t get very far, unfortunately.

GuillebeauChris_The100DollarStartupWhat do you think you’ll read next? I think I’ll insert a library book between all of my review books, as I have “The $100 Start-Up” by Chris Guillebeau checked out, right now, and really want to get to it. After that, I’ll probably read “Calling Me Home” by Julie Kibler, as it’s got a February deadline.

PLEASE LEAVE A COMMENT with either the link to your own WWW Wednesdays post, or share your answers in a comment here (if you don’t have a blog). Thanks! :D

  1. The authors of Book View Cafe are loving this meme. This week, Phyllis Irene Radford plays with her WWW:

  3. I am currently reading Tenth of December by George Saunders. I rarely read short stories but they are amazing!! Recommend it.
    [Tenth of December: Stories]

I just finished (listening to) Diviners by Libba Bray. I was a little disappointed that this will be a series but it was a wonderful story, great characters and amazing textures in the setting of New York, 1920’s.

    [The Diviners]

Next up is The Lower River by Paul Theroux.

    All library books, of course.

I’ve been watching TV as I knit instead of listening to books, so I can also relate. Here’s my answer: http://www.kwizgiver.com/2013/01/to-play-along-just-answer-following.html

  11. I saw your non-review of the Klassen book. Will be watching to see if you ever decide to return to it. Sometimes a book just doesn’t resonate. It happens.

This week I am loving everything so much, it took me extra long to write my entry. Then I realized I didn’t tell a lot about the books themselves, but more about why the books are capturing my imagination.
