Musing Mondays (Feb. 11)

My Musing…
I recently bought a copy of the movie tie-in version of “Safe Haven” by Nicholas Sparks… and, honestly, the only reason I bought it is because of the cover. I love Josh Duhamel. LOL. I do think the story line sounds interesting, too, and I will read the book. I also desperately want to see the movie that’s coming out this month! Unfortunately, I don’t have the money to go out to a movie at the theatre, right now, and I also don’t think I have anyone that would go with me. So, I will have to wait until it comes out on DVD. Either way, I will get to see it, eventually. And, maybe by then, I’ll have read the book.

I don’t usually read or enjoy Sparks, but I joined a challenge to read some of his books a couple of years ago, and Safe Haven was one of the books I chose. I did enjoy it more than most of his books. I read it on Sparky, my new Kindle (at the time). Here’s MY MUSING MONDAYS POST
Love the name of your Kindle.
This is one of the few Sparks books I haven’t read. I got to a point where I was just sort of over his stories. I haven’t seen any of the movies recently either. The Notebook is one of my all time favorites, but I’m just.. blah.. about his books anymore! I hate to feel that way!

I haven’t read any of Sparks’ books, because I didn’t “get” the Notebook movie. I mean, I understood it, but for some reason it didn’t touch me at all and I don’t know why.
