My Friday Finds
I’m looking forward to reading the new Rob Bell book soon. My Friday Finds are HERE.
My local library had it, so I’ve placed a hold on it. It’s still being catalogued, though, so it’ll be a bit before I can get my hands on it.
I’m curious to see if Mr. Bell is still “off the deep end” in this one, as he supposedly was in his last one. I haven’t read “Love Wins” yet, and am still not sure whether/not I want to. I’ve read enough peer reviews to think it might not be worth my time.
Either way… if I read through this newest one once I get it, you can be sure I’ll post my review. Heck, maybe I’ll post a partial-review, even if I don’t finish it.
I didn’t think he was ‘off the deep end’ in Love Wins. I can understand why some people didn’t like it, but I found myself resonating with a lot of what he wrote. If you’re interested, I wrote about it HERE. The book is worth reading, even if only to get into the discussion.
A friend of mine gifted me with The Way We Fall months ago. Hopefully I’ll get to read it soon..
