I’m using this page to keep track of the challenges I’ve decided to participate in… just for quick-reference. 
The CAREFREE READING CHALLENGE [hosted by MizB 
]:
For 2012, I commit to…
• read according to my moods ~ if I want to read romance, I will read romance; if I want to read self-help, I will read self-help.
• read books that aren’t for obligation ~ books that aren’t needing to be reviewed by a certain date, books that don’t have to be returned by a certain date, etc. Library books come with a bit of pressure so, much as I love them, I’m going to try to borrow very few library books, in 2012.
• read mostly my own books ~ sort of like the last commitment, really, but with a twist: I want to read books that have sat on my shelves for a while, waiting patiently to be read, always getting put off because of some other “obligation”.
