Teaser Tuesdays (Oct.6)

teasertuesdays31 Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:

  • Grab your current read
  • Open to a random page
  • Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
  • BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
  • Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

TheTransformation_TerriKrausMy Teasers:

“It had a white tablecloth covered by a paper topper. Oliver leaned into the table, and Samantha leaned to meet him.”

~ p.170, “The Transformation” by Terri Kraus

PLEASE LEAVE A COMMENT with either the link to your own Teaser Tuesdays post, or share your 2 ‘teasers’ in a comment here (if you don’t have a blog). Thanks!

((remember, the link for the comments is at the TOP of this post!))

  1. I completely forgot it was even Tuesday!

OK, at first I wasn’t sure what to think of your teaser, but the more I read it, the more I want to know about what’s going on! Tricy teasers…

I just finished Me and Mr. Darcy a minute ago, but I’ll still use it.

  2. “I listened, praying I would hear nothing, and that’s just what I did hear.”
“I simply did not understand why I had done the things I had, or why I’d persuaded the others to go along with me on this crazy night journey, and I did not believe we had a chance of getting away with it – not a hound’s chance in heaven, as the old timers used to say.”
There not on the same page, mind :S Lost the page as I was typing and couldn’t find it again. From the Green Mile, by Stephen King.
