Teaser Tuesdays (Apr.6)

teasertuesdays31 Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:

  • Grab your current read
  • Open to a random page
  • Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
  • BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
  • Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

My Teasers:

“A Tale of Two Sodas: will you choose to give in to the unrelenting cultural pressure to be too-sweet New Coke with its inevitable cattiness? Or will you courageously choose to be Classic Coke and plenty sweet enough just as God originally created you? It’s your choice.”

~ p.45, “No More Christian Nice Girl” by Paul Coughlin & Jennifer Degler, Ph.D.

PLEASE LEAVE A COMMENT with either the link to your own Teaser Tuesdays post, or share your 2 ‘teasers’ in a comment here (if you don’t have a blog). Thanks!

  1. And mine.

“She must have heard the animal”, the gendarme said. “She must have come up to see what the mayhem in the sheep-pen was about.”

  2. Ha, great teaser! Classic Coke all the way, baybee! There was never a need to fiddle with the Coke recipe. (Though frankly, I prefer Pepsi anyway.)

    Ahem.

My own teaser, alas much more sobering, is at Bookishgal.
