Teaser Tuesdays (May 25)

teasertuesdays31 Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:

  • Grab your current read
  • Open to a random page
  • Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
  • BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
  • Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

My Teasers:

“However, it did give her an idea. One that had less to do with disgusting charity and more to do with keeping the doors of her shop open.”

~ p.154, “A Tailor-Made Bride” by Karen Witemeyer

PLEASE LEAVE A COMMENT with either the link to your own Teaser Tuesdays post, or share your 2 ‘teasers’ in a comment here (if you don’t have a blog). Thanks!

  1. As always, an intriguing teaser. “disgusting charity” — tells me a little something about an interesting-sounding character. 🙂

  2. Disgusting charity/ Open door shop??
That’s a different way to approach the difference between the two depending on the character’s openness to both.

  3. Looks like a great read. Thanks for sharing this! Here’s my teaser from Brett James’s very exciting crime thriller, “The Deadfall Project”:

“As the car reversed toward him, Grey found himself smiling at the man’s antics, and wondering what was next. The man popped his head out the driver’s window, on the far side of the car.”

  4. Keeping the shop open sounds like a worthy goal & I like the cover of A Tailor-Made Bride.

Finally got our Perchance to Dream teaser up, with just an hour of Tuesday left. Eek! You can read our teaser at The Eager Readers. 🙂
