Teaser Tuesdays (Jan.11)

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:

  • Grab your current read
  • Open to a random page
  • Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
  • BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
  • Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

My Teasers:

“Vowing to do better, eat healthier, and make good choices, I head into my day only to find myself making more excuses, rationalizations, and promises for later. Always later.”

~ p. 28, “Made to Crave” by Lysa Terkeurst
(again, I’ve already finished this book ~ read my review ~ but the quote was too good not to share)

PLEASE LEAVE A COMMENT with either the link to your own Teaser Tuesdays post, or share your two ‘teasers’ in a comment here (if you don’t have a blog). Thanks!

  1. From your teaser I’m thinking that this is a very timely read for this time of the year with all our new year resolutions.

I haven’t been signing up for TTs in a couple of months, but am now anxious to see what everyone is reading. I wrote a teaser for Swedish crime writer Henning Mankell’s The Man from Beijing at Summit Musings .

  2. Book Trail of Blood
    Author Lisa Black

The man would have appeared to be asleep were it not for the fact that the body was nude and headless. James could only assume it was male, since those distinguishing parts had been removed along with the head
