Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:

  • Grab your current read
  • Open to a random page
  • Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
  • BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)

  8. I’ve never read these books! But I LOVE the TV show. I’ve heard the books are different. I should try them though. My teaser is from Tiger’s Curse. It’s exciting. Kinda like Indiana Jones.

    “Throat” by R.A. Nelson.a

    The cover is insanely gorgeous (not just the front, but the spine, back cover, inside flaps, etc. LOVELY!) and the opening paragraph was enough to hook me. Plus, vampires are scary again AND the MC has epilepsy, has a grand mal seizure during a vamp attack, and winds up with powers…while remaining human. It sounds so fresh and interesting! Can’t wait to read more!

    But for now…sleep!
