Teaser Tuesdays (July 26)

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:

  • Grab your current read
  • Open to a random page
  • Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
  • BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
  • Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

My Teasers:

“He waited for another second, peering into the arcade, with its rounded arches and deep recesses, but no one appeared. Was he being followed?”

~ p.145,The Medusa Amulet” by Robert Masello

PLEASE LEAVE A COMMENT with either the link to your own Teaser Tuesdays post, or share your ‘teasers’ in a comment here (if you don’t have a blog). Thanks!

  1. I’d say you picked a good teaser snippet… vaguely sounds like my book, too, actually.

Mine is from The Scroll by Grant Jeffrey. It’s a Christian mystery set in Jerusalem with archeologists; fairly unique.

  2. Hi MizB,

You certainly picked a great teaser line there. That line on its own would make me want to read the book. The synopsis is even more enticing and intriguing, so this has gone straight to my reading list. The author is unknown to me, but it sounds as though he is onto a winner with this book.

My teaser lines this week, are from the pen of a new South African contemporary fiction author, Nadine Rose Larter. I have only just begun the book, but it is looking full of promise so far
